The CKDCF once again bought 200 selection boxes for the Newcastle RVI Children’s Cancer Christmas Party! We also bought £1000 worth of equipment for the ward including a printer, digital camera and accessories, DVD’s, and games for the gaming consoles. Matthew and Evie Andrews, along with friends, Jessica McDonald, Simone and Shannon Rush, wrapped up all of the selection boxes and all of the goods were hand delivered to Newcastle last Sunday. Many Cumbrian children are treated at this unit allowing the CKDCF to help in this way. We would like to thank the Co-op in Egremont for kindly reducing the cost of the selection boxes and a special thank you to Terry and staff!
