DUNNERY ON HIS WAY HOME TO HELP KIDS

WEST Cumbrian-born singer/ songwriter Francis Dunnery will return home tomorrow to head up two days of charity events to help youngsters in his native Egremont.

The former It Bites front man will be performing at a musical jamming session tomorrow night.

The fundraiser is part of the now-annual summer event for the Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children’s Fund, which Francis set up in memory of his parents.

The charity aims to help improve the health and education of children in Egremont and the surrounding area.

Last year the charity raised £3,000 for Bookwell School in Egremont.

This year all money raised will be in aid of Wyndham secondary school.

The fundraising kicks-off at 7 pm tomorrow night at The Ship Launch Pub in Egremont.
