FRANCIS DUNNERY UNVEILS STAR SIGNINGS FOR CHARITY AUCTION

A host of celebrity items are up for grabs at the annual Francis Dunnery auction.

The Egremont-born rock star will be at the event at The Ship Launch at 7pm tomorrow that will feature a pop quiz, raffle and celebrity auction.

All proceeds from the event, along with a concert, golf day, table tennis competition and sponsored walk later in the year, go to the Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children’s Fund.

Francis set up the charity in memory of his parents and it donates money to local good causes that benefit children.

Items from the worlds of music, sport and entertainment will go under the hammer. Sports fans can bid for signed memorabilia from Steven Gerrard, Frankie Dettori and others.

There is also a dart board signed by Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor and 1993 Ryder Cup programme signed by 14 golfers, including Seve Ballesteros.

Other signed items from the likes of Robert De Niro, Ant and Dec, Olly Murs and James Blunt will be up for grabs, while music comes from John & Wayne and MT Arms.
