EARLY CHRISTMAS FOR AARON

A Schoolboy who has been blind since birth has received an early Christmas present to give him a helping hand with this studies.

Ten-year-old Aaron Hewitt, who lives in Little Broughton and attends Broughton School, has been brought a Braille-enhanced Apple Macbook Pro and a digital dictaphone by the Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children’s Fund (CKDCF).

The charity was set up 10 years ago by Egremont rock start Francis Dunnery in memory of his parents and donates money at regular intervals for the benefit of local young people.
