Our EVENTS 2026

Music and Food

Friday 12th June | Doors Open 7:00pm Seacote Hotel, St Bees (CA27 0ES)

Kick off the weekend with a night that feeds the soul, the belly, and the spirit! Our festival opening is more than just a concert; it’s an evening of emotional warmth, deep friendship, and pure entertainment.

🎤 The Main Event

We begin the night with a hilarious, heart-tugging keynote presentation featuring Francis and friends. Expect a rollercoaster of stories that will have you laughing one minute and reaching for the tissues the next.

🍽️ A Feast for Everyone

Directly after the presentation, we dive into a magnificent, diverse buffet. Whether you are a meat-lover, a vegetarian, or have specific tastes, we’ve got you covered. There is something delicious for everyone—no matter who or what you are!

🎵 A Showcase of Talent

Once everyone is fueled up, the music begins! We’ve curated a “fast-and-fresh” lineup of short sets to keep the energy high and the vibes rolling. This year’s incredible roster includes:

  • Francis Dunnery – Tall Blonde Helicopter

  •  John and Wayne – Greatest Hits

  • Cumbria’s favorite son: Buzz Elliot

  • (And maybe a surprise appearance by the karaoke machine for the brave!)

❤️ The Best Part: Win-Win-Win!

Every single dinner ticket carries a powerful purpose. A generous percentage of your meal cost is donated directly to the health and wellness of children. You get a world-class night of entertainment; they get the support they need. It’s a win for you, a win for the charity, and a win for the kids!

  • Weekend Tickets: £100 includes dinner, music and fireworks display

  • Book Now: TICKETS

  • Dress Code: Come as you are! There is no formal dress code—we want you relaxed and ready to enjoy.

Adventure and Health

Saturday 13th JUNE 2026 | 10:00am Sharp!

The Lake District is one of the most stunning landscapes in the world—scenery so beautiful it stays with you forever. That is why we’ve chosen the breathtaking Longlands Lake for our annual fundraising walk.

Why Walk With Us?

This isn’t just about the fresh air or “shaking off the cobwebs.” With every single step you take around this 4km path, you are directly contributing to the health, wellness, and future of children who genuinely need our help and support.

As my namesake St. Francis once said: “It’s in giving that we are given.” He was right! There is no gesture more powerful than giving. You’ll finish this walk feeling like a million dollars, knowing you’ve made a real difference in the world.

The Game Plan

  • Meeting Point: Longlands Lake, Cumbria (Click here for the exact meeting point)

  • Arrival & Sign-in: Please arrive by 9:45am to sign in and take our annual group photograph.

  • The Start: We set off at 10:00am sharp.

  • Getting There: If you are staying at the hotel, please aim to leave by 9:30am to ensure you arrive on time.

Parking & Logistics: Parking is available at the start point, but we strongly encourage car-sharing where possible—it’s better for the planet and the Lake District!

After the Walk

Once we’ve completed our trek, the afternoon is yours! Relax for a few hours, grab some lunch, catch the football at the hotel, or simply rest up. You’ll want to be ready for an incredible evening of high-energy Rock n Roll!

This year, the magic continues with:

  • Francis Dunnery: Tall Blonde Helicopter

  • John and Wayne

Both Friday night and Saturday night are going to be epic. Join us for a massive celebration in the Seacote Hotel, St Bees—the very heart of the It Bites hometown. You definitely don’t want to miss this one.

Food and Drinks

AFTERSHOW PARTY

We know the drill: after a night of world-class music and a few beers, hunger kicks in. To save you from a "drunken over-order" at the local Chinese that costs a fortune, we’ve arranged for after-show soup and sandwiches back at the hotel. It’s the perfect way to wind down, share a final drink with new friends, and celebrate the night. The band and I will be hanging out for a few hours to take photos, chat, and say a proper goodbye. It’s our way of saying thank you for helping us raise money for the kids while having the time of your life. The Details: Who: Strictly for CKDCF guests staying at the Seacote Hotel. Tickets: £10 per person. How to Book: See Fay Dunnery during the weekend to grab your food tickets. Deadline: Please see Fay at the Friday night dinner to reserve your spot so we know how many to feed! We’ll see you there for a fond farewell and a job well done.
