£600 – CKDCF funds sensory toys for children with autism

The CKDCF has donated almost £600 to Autism Support Allerdale and Copeland. Autism Support Allerdale and Copeland will use the donation to fund the purchase of a number of sensory toys, which will aid the de-stressing and socialisation of autistic children across west Cumbria. CKDCF funds youngsters affected by abuse

We are proud to have donated £1,000 to Safety Net (UK) to help them continue to deliver their support services. The organisation provides help and support to Cumbrian youngsters who have been affected by sexual abuse and domestic violence. Tuesday 5th March 2019

CKDCF funds new friendships

The CKDCF have donated £1,000 to the Egremont Youth Partnership, which runs a disability support group and other events for local children. The disability support group affords young people the opportunity to meet new people and develop new skills. With the help of our fundraisers, this would not have been possible. CKDCF donation funds Youth Theatre

The CKDCF are extremely pleased to have once again donated £1,000 to the Rosehill Youth Theatre, Whitehaven. Rosehill Youth Theatre is a volunteer-run amateur dramatic group for children and young adults, staging their own productions of well-known musicals in Whitehaven’s Solway Hall.  The group currently has around 80 members aged between 5- and 18-years old. …

A £2,000 cheque was handed over to Safety Net UK in order to fund a worker to support children. The CKDCF’s donation will be used to support children affected by rape, sexual abuse and domestic violence throughout west Cumbria.
